Incredible Technologies Debuts New Prism Cabinets and Content at G2E

The Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas served as a major milestone for Incredible Technologies (IT) this year. The Chicago-based developer, known for its deep roots in amusement gaming, brought its largest lineup of content to the show floor in years. Central to their display were two distinct cabinet designs: the Prism Spark and the Prism Skybox. These models represent a significant evolution in IT's hardware strategy, focusing on curved screens and immersive player experiences.

Kelsey Reish, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Incredible Technologies, noted that the new hardware is a substantial step up from previous lines. The Prism Spark marks the company's first foray into curved screen technology, a move designed to meet modern player expectations for high-end visuals and comfort. Visitors at Booth 4047 saw firsthand how integrated lighting and high-definition displays work in tandem to elevate the gaming experience. The company has seen year-over-year growth since 2015, proving that its transition into the casino slot market has been highly successful.

Numbers and facts

The Prism Spark cabinet features a 43-inch curved UHD portrait monitor paired with a 27-inch FHD topper. It joins the Prism Skybox, which debuted in 2021 and also utilizes a 43-inch UHD portrait display. Dan Schrementi, President of Incredible Technologies, stated that this year's showcase included the most new content since before the pandemic. The company's expansion is so significant that it had to move the production of its legendary Golden Tee Golf machines out of its Mount Vernon, Illinois, plant to make room for increasing slot machine production.

A standout at the booth was the debut of the game Just Buried. A playful take on the just-married theme, the game features two zombie characters celebrating their wedding. The visual style is distinct, using a color palette of lime greens, warm blues, and vibrant purples. Reish described the gameplay as intuitive, with scatters that correspond to different game levels which can be upgraded to increase reward values. The game also includes Chicago-themed Easter eggs, such as a Chicago-style hot dog, as a nod to the company’s roots.

Background

Over the last decade, Incredible Technologies has transformed from an amusement game supplier into a top-performing slot manufacturer. Since launching its first slot at G2E 2008, the company has consistently placed high in industry performance surveys. A key part of their success is the strict regimen instituted by CEO Elaine Hodgson, who insists that only proven, field-tested content is brought to major trade shows.

“The hardware looks like a step up from our previous lines and we’re more excited about the content, the game content, in the booth than a while. They feel more elevated. Players are more attracted to them.” - Kelsey Reish, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Incredible Technologies

Innovation extends beyond the screens. The company’s Infinity Pilot cabinet is a premium, lease-only product designed to create an individual gaming space using two additional 29-inch monitors. This design aims to eliminate "middle game syndrome," where players avoid machines sandwiched between others. The Infinity Summit model, meanwhile, utilizes overhead space with a 4K monitor angled down toward the player, maximizing visual impact in a standard footprint.

Why it matters for German players

For German gaming enthusiasts, the innovations at Incredible Technologies represent the cutting edge of global slot trends. However, these physical cabinets are primarily designed for land-based casinos. In Germany, online gaming is strictly governed by the 2021 State Treaty on Gambling (GlüStV). This includes a 1 Euro per spin limit and a mandatory five-second pause between spins. While the visual splendor of the Prism Spark is impressive, its full effect is often lost when adapted for smaller home screens under German regulatory constraints.

Furthermore, all legal online operators in Germany must be listed on the official GGL whitelist. The LUGAS system enforces a 1,000 Euro monthly deposit limit to ensure player protection. While games like Just Buried might eventually reach German players, they must first undergo rigorous certification to ensure they meet local standards, particularly regarding their appeal to minors given the stylized zombie graphics. German regulation ensures that while innovation continues, player safety remains the top priority.

What it means for GGL-licensed casinos

GGL-licensed operators monitor international events like G2E to identify successful mechanics that can be translated to the online market. The intuitive scatter upgrades and integrated lighting effects seen in IT’s new cabinets serve as a blueprint for future digital slot features. Because German players value transparency and security, any new concept must align with strict addiction prevention protocols. Ultimately, the success of IT demonstrates that the slot industry remains highly innovative, constantly finding new ways to balance entertainment with complex mathematical design.
